Everytime I attempt to play a tournament/round at Aviara, about 2 holes in the game exits and my computer goes back to desktop. When I attempt to restart, I get the same result. Has anyone else had this problem or knows a way to correct it?

I have rarely heard of this problem with stock courses. My instincts tell me that the Aviara course file has somehow become corrupted. Are you trying to play the course in TW07 directly off the disc or did you copy the course folder from the disc to another folder on your drive to be played in TW08? If you are playing the course directly off the 07 disc in an installed version of TW07 then I do not have any answers for this abnormality. If however you copied this course from the 07 disc to be played in TW08 it might have in someway gotten corrupted. If you have copied it off the 07 game disc I would uninstall the course using the CU, and delete the file. insert the 07 disc into your CD/DVD drive, click on Start, right click Explore and navigate to the drive that contains the 07 disc. Double click on the drive to open the contents of the disc. Open the Courses folder and you should see most of the courses that are in the game. There are always one or two not listed there and they will appear in your Hidden Files and Folder. I am positive however that Aviara will appear in the regular location in the Course folder. Just copy the Aviara course folder to your hardrive. You can now install this course into TW08 if you have it installed, using either the adapted for CU for 08 or Jorgens Installer. After installation,make sure that all Properties for the course are properly assinged using the CU (Course Utility). The 07 courses should work smoothly in 08 if they are properly installed. The graphic settings within the 08 game sometimes need to be adjusted to accomodate the 07 courses but they should certainly run without crashing.
