im not a very advanceed CA user, so i have a question. When i test my course in the game, the textures are often see-through, or they have numerous holes in them. Also, the background and scenery during a shot are copied all over the screen. The performance is fine, though. Does anybody have an idea or solution for this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks alot! |

This occurs from an over high point count generally on the textures(s) in question? Has it been efficiently optimized? Also, if it is the base texture(the lowest underlying) you may need to add some buffer shapes as we call them around groups of holes using the same texture as the base texture to get the right look, then change the base texture to a similar appearance texture. You do not really want to use the same texture on top of another, this can cause other similar problems. |

You get the background copy effect when you havent added a pano. Depending on game version, if using the ca to design for 08, then you wont see the stock panos in game, so try using one of the many great panos designed by the community. |

Guide rules for optimizing: Preliminary stages 3-4 clicks Finishing stage (after final smoothing): greens 1 click bunkers 2 clicks fairway/rough 3 clicks base texture 4 clicks lips: maximum never optimize with children This should get you going |
