I thought Id like to share some pix from my latest project, The Outpost. Its another valley-type course, that is a front nine going out and a back nine going back in. Because the valley slopes down along its length, this means that front nine is all downhill and the back nine is virtually all uphill.

Thanks, Gun. I just uploaded the course. Its called The Outpost. Here are the architects comments:

James T. Headlong was quite an intrepid explorer - for an inhabitant of Jimiland, that is. His sense of exploring may have appeared odd to those not familiar with the peculiarities of the Jiminites, their unwillingness to leave their homeland in particular. He didnt see any sense in going off exploring in faraway lands while there were still unseen parts of his own land to be left discovered. So he went exploring in a part of Jimiland, high up in hills far to the East of Castle Blabbermouth, that had been left abandoned for centuries. Making his way through the virgin woods of the supposedly haunted Slechteraf Mountains, he arrived in a sublime gorge, cut off from the surrounding hills by daunting rock cliffs, deep canyons and dense pine forests. Believing to be the first Jiminite to ever set eyes on this splendid valley, he didnt hesitate for a second to name it Headlong Gorge. He then proceeded to boldly go where he figured no man had gone before and explore the valley, only to find ruins dating back to medieval times and maybe even earlier. Archeological research soon showed that the earlier ruins dated to pre-Roman times, while the ruins of a castle halfway down the valley proved to be an outpost, built by the ubiquitous Cedric Blabbermouth, to fend off invasions from the East. As the peoples living there were not particularly warlike, this proved to be an unwise decision, and the castle was soon abandoned. After Headlongs (re)discovery the valley was opened up by constructing a road and dynamiting through the granite rocks blocking the western side of the valley from the rest of Jimiland. The golf course was built in the early years of the last century. Although by todays standards it is fairly easy to navigate, it is still an interesting and at times challenging course if you dont play your cards right.

It should be a ball to play. Have fun all!!!
