| My new course is called The Sinterklaas Course @ Jimipolis, in honour of good old Saint Nicholas, whose birthday is coming up. It offers a nice view of the city, including its old citadel, the foundations of which date back to Roman times :-) |

| This course fell together almost miraculously. It seemed to almost design itself. I scored a -7 on my final test roud, so it should even be playable, lol. Id love to show you some pix, but apparently that feature doesnt work for me at this point in time -) |

| Rob it has to do with the file structure of the new site, the files are uploading but to the wrong place. Right now Im just manually moving them one by one. |

That must be a hassle.
As for this course, it usually takes me something like 10-14 days to complete a course design from scratch. A lot of time is spent contemplating where to go next after Ive finished a hole, lol. This course seemed to almost design itself, it came together so fast. Just five days and I believe its the best Ive done so far.

The Sinterklaas Course at Jimipolis
This is the second course to be found on the outskirts of the city of Jimipolis. Located in a tight bend of the Blabber River, it is distinctly more downmarket than its fancy sister course on the other side of town. It is called the Sinterklaas Course because Sinterklaas, whos a mean old golfer (handicap 7), has a holiday residence there. Also located on the course is the soccer pitch of the local team, FC Jimipolis United - which means no golf on Sunday afternoons when theres a match on. Fortunately for golfers, the team is bottom league and hasnt been involved in any end-of-season play-offs for 54 years, so the soccer season in Jimipolis tends to be brief. Because the location of the course is basically a piece of wetland, it gets inundated every ten years or so,. The ponds that are left behind after such an episode are carefully preserved to add numerous water hazards to the course.
