Goodevening gentlemen !
First, thanks to all the people who contribute to this wonderful site ! Coursedonwloads is the perfect complement to TW PGA Tour.
Well, I hope someone could help me. Ive installed some old courses from TW07 to TW08 and I used the CourseUtilities. It worked great, but today I tried to launch it and I had this message : : object creation thru activeX component not possible . I made a research on the net but I didnt find something usefull for my problem.
Did you ever have this message and do you know how I can resolve it ?
By the way, I have another question. As I said, Ive installed the old courses from 07 to 08. I can play them, but in the game, I have a blank hex for them in the list of courses. Could you tell me what is the file I have to associate with a course to resolve this problem (for instance : COG.dds, flag.dds or logo.dds) ?

Hi.....
When you have TW07 installed go to next path:
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 07\bin
Inside Bin folder you will find: Augatlib.dll........and AugatRegistry.dll.
Right click both files ......choose: copy....and paste both files to Bin folder in TW08 game.
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\bin.
Restart Courseutilities..and it should work now....i hope..lol.
For your second question: You will need the: logo.dds file. |

Its a curse ! Ive just uninstalled TW07 ! Ive tried to recover its files with Recuva... But I didnt find this dlls...
Its a shame !
Have you another suggestion ? Or is there another way to associate files with courses ? Actually, I need CourseUtilities for the second problem Ive exposed in my previous post.

Another option is to use CLsetup08 ( automatic installer)
I will send you message where you can find CLsetup08....
CLsetup08 will install course+libraries+logo+flag automatic in game TW08 for you.
When you have CLsetup08....you don t need courseutilities .... |

Hi !
Thank you for your answers, especially you Gunpower61.
Its very kind.
Ive already downloaded CLSetup08. I know how to use it (just like CLSetup07 or 06).
I think CourseUtilities doesnt work anymore because Ive uninstalled TW07.
Actually I rather use CLSetup than CourseUtilities. But now, my problem is just about the old courses.
How can I associate text and logo files with the course without Courseutilities ?
I hope you understand me. Ive already installed some courses from Coursedownload and there is no problem. But for the TW07s courses ? Ive used Courseutilities because they are not zipped from my old folder TW07 to the new one. And, manualy, Ive associated text and picture with Properties in CourseUtilities. But I cant see icons in the courses list in the game for these courses. All the same when I click on a blank hex in the list on the left I can see the deion on the right of the screen. So, how could I install icon for this old courses ? Thats my question.

Hi.....
The only way to add logos with Courseutilities is to use the Jo summers version(see link below):
There is option added (in properties) to add logo:

But since you have problems with courseutilities you will have to use CLsetup08:
you will have to add logo.dds file to your courses with CLsetup08.
You can find logo.dds files for TW07 courses, to play in TW08 game created by Jeff Jarvis:
Above shoutbox...look for: Utilities
Inside utilities go to section: Game display....and look for: TW08 logo pack#1 supplement.
Inside you will find a lot of logos for TW07 courses to play in TW08 game.
But first you will have to uninstall the course in TW08 with CLsetup.
Download the original course zip file......extract the zip file and add logo in extracted course file.
(when there is already logo.dds file inside extracted course file: delete file and replace with the new one)
Rezip ...and now you will have same zip file as before, but now with logo added. Install new zip file in TW08 with CLsetup08. |
