Glad to hear that you like it. The course ends right next to the spaceport, so if you dont like it you can leave right away, lol |

Heres a panoramic view of the entire course, as seen from the 8th green. The course starts in the hills overlooking the small town of Mos Eisley and its adjacent spaceport and circles down to the plain. |

Im thinking perhaps we could make a cls for him that has the land rover following him where the bags normally are.
Jimi, if you make a land rover/speeder or whatever those were called that Luke rolled in with Obi won in the 1st move (#4 in the series) made, and use a single tga to map it, Brent and I can fix it up where you have one of those following you where ever ur guy is lol.
We made a house follow us last nite!! |

I like what you are doing Jimi. You have me wondering what a modern golf course may have looked like in ancient Egyptian times. Perhaps along the banks of the Nile river? |

Shoot, we could make a gallery of sand people too if jimi made the objects. Even a C3PO caddy! Might as well throw in a Star Wars hover craft hanging in the air like Jimbos blimp. I think with bigs success last night that anything could be done. I will say that it could likely take us a lot of time to do it. But if jimi were willing to create the objects. We could always make the cls available later if you didnt want to wait, jimi. |

Ive been looking into this idea of creating objects with gmax, then somehow importing them into the cls. I think it can be done, but Id like to be sure before someone goes off and creates a bunch of new objects. Stay tuned! |

THat sounds like great fun. If its just tga-files that you need its no prblm at all. If you need Gmax files I probably could do a rover and even c3PO and R2D2 would be possible. With my new Gmax grabber the sky is the limit lol. I am a bit handicapped at the moment because my 07 game wont play anymore. So I can only check mt progress in TW2006, which is far from ideal. |

Heres the Millennium Falcon hovering over the course. This is a TW2006 pic because my TW2007 game has given up on me for no apparent reason. Tried every possible method of uninstalling and re-installing, but the game just wont start anymore. |

Big9324 is back from vacation, and we can definitely create CLS objects using 3D Studio Max. Its possible to create objects using GMAX, but they have to be exported using the Quake md3 plugin (available at turbosquid), converted to 3ds format, imported into 3ds, re-textured, then exported with the Panorama plugin. So if theres interest, perhaps I can write up a tutorial, but its really best to have 3ds and intimate knowledge of the cls to do this. Looks like it will take a tag-team of myself and big together to do it.
Anyway, thanks for the course, jimi! |
