hello, new to downloading custom courses. i have downloaded 3 custom course and all there associated libraries, these are Royal County Down, Eagle Eye and Bayhill Club 07, after installing these using clsetup07, i load up my game and click on the course to play, but when i take my shots the action is all jerky. all the animations are like this, the club swing and flight of ball, any ideas? it is the same with all 3 courses but the original courses are all ok, so its nothing to do with low memory etc, as my pc exceeds the recommended specs for the game. so any ideas would be appreciated greatly. i have also looked at the how to install courses section and i am doing everything right.

cheers Dave

Custom courses are more heavy on your resources, sounds like a graphics issue, what is your video card?

You will need to turn down or off some settings with that card, or try selecting automatic in options/graphics.....while the 5200 is a good all round card and will play the stock courses ok some of the custom courses and libraries will be asking too much of it.

it worked a little bit better, but it is still jerky with all the settings down to minimum. maybe i will try screen resolution see if it makes a difference

Even though that is a low end card for playing this game, that card combined with not enough memory could even complicate the problem. You really need at least 512 MB or preferably 1 gig of RAM and a good graphics card with at least 256 MB memory to run this game well.

i got 1gig memory, p4 3.4 ghz, turned all settings off or as low as they would go and it still jerks but not as bad as before. i have no problem playing game on stock courses with settings up fairly high, its just the custom courses are very jerky

Try disabling some background running processes, in particular anti virus and/or anti spyware programs, these can effect the performance quite a bit.
