Ive seen several customs released that dont offer screen shots on their course page lately. Im not sure if this is because the designer doesnt want to or doesnt see any importance in it or just doesnt know how to.
I may be alone here but unless I know the designer well, if a course doesnt have screenshots, I pass most of the time.
Screenshots are easy to add to your course upload if you dont know how. Simply add a folder named course pics in your course folder before you zip it and upload it. The only real trick is to make the pics each small enough in size to keep the course folder a managable download size. For example I try to add about 6-8 jpg pics that show different areas of the course on both the front and back 9.
I shrink the pics to about 150kb - 350kb. On average they run about 250kb and are 800x600 pixels in size.
I only use mine as examples and not a requirement. Im sure there are some good courses that are being passed over because lack of pictures.

| Im in complete agreement. I dont download courses much at all any more, but when I did, I never DLd anything without pictures. Its always nice to get a sense of the style and quality of a course before actually DLing and installing it. |
