Ive created libraries before but never have run across this. I created new 512x512 images in TGA format. Then I added them into the LC and saved as a new library. After adding the new textures to check for color suitability, etc I compiled the course. It loaded in the game and ran fine. Then I went back to the LC and began adding the texture coefficients starting with only the tee, fairway, and green. Again it loaded and ran fine . I next added the coefficients for the rough and deep rough textures. I used other textures for the deep rough then gave it deep rough characteristics. I made the rough all 3 levels as normal. When I compiled this time, though the game crashes when trying to play. Ive gone through this twice now so it must have to do with the coefficients somehow.

By any chance did you define blade attributes for the rough(s) and if so, did you also make sure to add blade textures to the library?

I point this out because Ive seen others do this, and Ive even done it once or twice out of haste as well. When the program looks for blade textures and cant find them, it crashes.

I assigned standard rough template to the blade props for the rough. But Ive done this before. In fact I have a working library that Ive been using temporarily that has blade props assigned.

I removed grass props and that solved the problem. Thanks for your help, Quietly.

Well, it seem I was mistaken. Without grass props there are no grass blades displayed. (Should have realized).
