Ive been using the course architect 2006 to make courses for 07 for 5 months now and it seems as if it doesnt work at all anymore.
It just cant load tca(ca) files anymore. Luckily I was able to finish a course before this happened but I just loaded an old course from 2005, which worked with this architect 2 days ago and it doesnt load anymore. And Now it doesnt load any courses at all!
the only things Ive done in the last 2 days is add 2 2004 libraries to the 2006 course utilities. Have I just added too many libraries and its overloading the course architect.
I currently have around 55 libraries, is that too many?
Just before this occured I no longer could click the library button or the properties button when right clicking a dropped shape which brings up the library anyway.
When I try to bring up the library in ca 06 it crashes!

other libraries I previously uploaded onto 2006 through course utilities 06 had no ill effects on the ca at all

| I do believe that is too many libraries. I think the limit is around 40 or so before the CA will not load. Either uninstall some libraries or use Jorgens CLTool program (different from his CLSetup installer program) to cloak the unneeded libraries. |

You can download Cloaking tool on this site.
Above shoutbox you will see: Utilities
Inside select game: Tiger woods 2006....and click: Go.
Choose: Course design tools.... and you will find Cloaking tool.
Deion: The cloaking device is a tool that will let you swap courses and libraries in and out of your TW installation without removing the files from disk. The benefit with this is that the course architect will run faster and it will also be more stable. After reaching a certain number of installed libraries, the architect will start to behave badly. I believe this is a problem related to the swap files, but that is just an uneducated guess. The library view and the texture properties list will be shorter and easier to navigate with fewer libraries installed. If you find that you need a certain library, just uncloak it, and it is back in the architect. Another feature of the cloaking device is that it can show all libraries that a certain course uses. |

| theres a folder called spwafiles in the CA. It pays to delete these once in a while(Just put them all in your bin.) . Often that is enough to solve these problems. |

| Just delete the swap files all together if your going to try that. It is good to clean them out once in a while but I dont think that this problem has to do with swap files. Something so random as this prob is a glitch somewhere. Either go back to the way it was when it was working last (uninstall those 2 old stock libs, ect.) or just uninstall the program and reinstall fresh. |
