My next golf course is set in the village of Carassio, where the inhabitants worship the goldfish. |

Just the occasional trip to my local coffeeshop, LOL. The inhabitants of Carassio have some peculiar demands for this course. To start with, they insist that both the front and the back nine end in the village square. Also, they want all bunkers to be fish-shaped. Im not yet sure why, but their reverence for the humble goldfish probably has something to do with it. |

Glad you like em. I just like to share the fantassies I come up while designing a course in order to keep it toghether. If a fantasy course has some context in my mind, it comes out more real, I think, which is what Im striving for. My courses may be fantasy, but Id likke the people who play them to say, I wish I could go there and play a round for real. :) B.t.w. I seem to have been locked out of the TWC. I am still available for design requests though (within reason of course..) So if anybody needs a clubhouse built, Im still a 3D contratcor LOL Just let me know. |

Jimi,
My message to you was removed, I was bascially asking how you mold these courses so quick.
I do have a request for 3D structures. On Royal Troon, their is a hotel and a few houses on 17 than on 18 a club house. Their is also a house that sits on 16. The course was completed last year, it was my 2nd course for this game. The course itself was designed off an old video game British Open Championship golf, and than coverage from the 82-89-97-04 Opens were used. If you would like help out let me know. The biggest problem is a Pano for this course. It has an ocean that runs out on the 1st 6 holes. Than it has hills over in the distance. In the Past I was able use the old panos, but now in 07 they dont work, and nothing seems to match up. I havent really thought about Troon in a while, and it is not like a course that everyone wants for this game. At the same time, those who like the British Open links courses, the course is strong enough to give the fan another Real course for the 07 game. |

Well, I do use some tricks, plus have a lot time on my hands at the moment. I was thinking of doing a tutorial on it, but I had a little fall out at the TWC and I believe they removed me from their site. That must have been why your message was deleted. I havent been able to check yet, because they locked out my pc, which is more of an inconvenience then a punishment really. Anyway, if you can provide pictures of the buldings Ill see what I can do. I have to compromize here and there by simplifying the structures somewhat both for my own convenience and that of the game, which doesnt take too well to intricate strcutures. As for the pano, Im afraid I haventt sorted that out yet, so I cant help you there. There are some folks who have done excellent 07 panos though. So it can be done. |

This is sort of a tiered course, which reminds me ofd one of my favourite science fiction novels, which may inspire me to a science fiction theme for my next course. Ill see. Heres a view through the pine trees from the 4th down on the 1st and from there on the village itself. Anyway, Ive been talking a bit to the Carassians about their strange preference for octagonal strcutures. They tell me the reason is that their religion teaches them their are eight sides to every question. Of course Iasked them what these eight sides might be, but they refused to tell me. You have to be intiated into their religion to find out. I dont think Im quite ready for that, but the Cardassians dont mind. They believe in freedom of religion. |

The gold fish is a recurrent theme in the village of Cardassio. This humble pet has been raised to a lofty level of worship by the Cardassians, led by their patriarch, Godfried Cruijckvis, who had a very peculiar vision in his youth. When he read in a scientific magazine that the goldfish has the most evolved vision of all creatures on this planet, being able to see far into both the infrared and the ultraviolet, he realized that this aquatic marvel by its very nature is able to see more than the rest of us. This means, according to Cruijckvis, that the goldfish has to know more than the rest of us, because it has seen things that we havent. You and I might disagree with this peculiar vision, but Cruijckvis faith was unshakable from his very first moment of revelation onwards. After a very successful career selling fishtanks, Cruijckvis returned to his native village, somewhere to the north of Jimipolis, where he succeeded against all odds in converting his fellow-villagers to his remarkable new religion, in which the goldfish serves as the Mouthpiece of the Supreme Being. The problem, Cruijckvis and his small band of believers soon discovered, was that goldfish are not very talkative and therefore not very suitable as mouthpieces. In fact they dont speak in any intellgable language at all, although the movement of their lips suggests that they do have a lot to say. At least thats what the Cardassians figured, so they set upon a scheme to collect money by selling ever more fishtanks. The money could then be invested in state-of-the-art office buildings and laboratories. The first, located just outside the village on Carp Hill, are being used to run the ever expanding fishtank business. In the latter highly paid scientists are trying to come up with a way to get the goldfish to talk. Thus far without success, as far as I have been able to discover.
Now to the golf course the Cardassians had me build for their leader, who loves to play golf, but who has a strong tenedency to land his balls in water wherever available (hence his affectionate nickname: The Golden Fish, which he takes in good humour,) The Cardassians asked me to leave out the water hazards for once to allow their leader the chance to finish a round within a day, which I did, almost. Theres only a one narrow gulch in front of the ninth, but Cruickvis managed indeed to find it at his first attempt while going for the daring approach .on the fairway next to the OB area of Michael Guppys yard. In spite of the lack of water it is a very challenging course, with deep bunkers that will gobble up any ball that strays from the straight-and-narrow. The only flat areas on the entire course are the teeboxes, so a good luck wish to those willing to try this golfing adventure is in order. So good luck all and have fun!!!

Now available, in future if you could upload any new libraries seperately and not packaged with the course it would speed up the time it takes for us to confirm your upload.
