I skipped the pano because it cut right through the course. It still looks nice though. |

I have finished ands uloaded Jimipolis for all of you to enjoy.
This fictional course is set somewhere in the so-called Green Heart of Edge City, as the Dutch call the heavily urbanized western provinces of their country. It offers a peculiar mix of rural quiet and urban proximity.
Designers note: Im not really one to blow his own horn, but I have to say that I am really happy with this course. I achieved just about every goal I set myself when I started this courase, so as a designer I am very happy with that. Thats also why I didnt mind calling it Jimipolis. It may sound like I suffer from illusions of grandeur, but since I actually constructed the entire town myself, I feel quite entitled. Apart from that I do believe that this course is a treat to play, with enough variation, both visually and playingwise, to keep just about everybody entertained. My main goal as a designer is to create courses that give you the idea of really being there so to speak. With this course I do believe I have largely achieved that goal. So this is a course I am very proud of and I would appreciate it if people who have enjoyed their round(s) here take a minute to let me know. If you dont like it, dont hesitate to tell me either. Although I design for my own pleasure, I upload my courses for the pleasure of you all. Feedback can only help me getting better at designing. So have fun all. P.S. Thanks to HikerBob for the excellent CLS file. |
