Im a newbie here and searched through the forums for this help but couldnt find any.
Heres the problem:
Ive made a test course (to get hang of the 06 editor) using the course architect 06 (I do own Tiger 06 also), made 18 holes, and compiled the course. I then tested it in Tiger 06 and it worked ok.
Now I would like to try it in Tiger 07 but I do not understand exactly what Im supposed to do to get it into 07.
Also I read in some posts that people used 07 libraries in the 06 architect. I didnt think you could and if so do you copy the 07 libraries into the same area as the 06 and older libraries to use them.
Thanks for whoever can help me with this. I use to make courses for Jack 4 but then bought links and was totally confused with its course architect. I would like to start making them for 07. |

Hi bro...... there is no course architect released for TW07 game. But people are using course architect 06 to create custom TW07 courses, and they managed to create some excellent courses. They created TW07 panos and TW07 libraries to use in TW07 courses. It is possible to play TW06 custom courses with TW07 game. You can add your created course in TW07 same way you added in TW06, but now you will have to use course utilities 07 or CLsetup07. But TW06 courses are not rendering very well in TW07. |

You need to install the o7 stock libraries into tw2006 the same way you would install any other library.
As for desiging for 07 create the course the same way you would for 06 after compiling the course you will have to manually install the course into tw07. |

Thanks for the help.
I finally figured out how to import my course but here is a new question on the same subject.
How do you install your course using the included CourseUtilities.exe from 07 and make your course go in your own directory so that your main course directory doesnt get all littered up? I tend to like to keep my original directories as clutter free as possible but every time I use the above utility it just drops it into the course directory.
Also if you can tell me, I dont have flags that I make, (Im terrible with drawing new art in Paint shop etc) so would I be able to take a flag.dds and put it in said directory after I install the course? |

Hi.... Some good help about installing courses on link below: select and copy link...and paste in your browser:
http://www.coursedownloads.com/forum/posts.asp?post=2838
You can add flag.dds in same folder you added course. Good site with downloads of flags on link below:
