| I have TW PGA Golf 2007. I have downloaded and installed a couple of 2006 courses without any problems. I recently downloaded the Baltusrol 2006 course and associated libraries and installed them in my game. There were no error messages when I installed the files. However, when I go to play the course, it gets about 2/3 loaded and then crashes to the desktop. There is a Read Me file that comes with the course that says the Video Settings must be adjusted...specifically, Tree distance must be set to LOW and Hole perimeter must be set to LOW. I went to adjust the settings as recommended but there is NO category for Hole Perimeter. I did set the Tree Distance setting to LOW but it still crashes to the desktop. Anyone have any suggestions as to how to correct this problem? Thank you for any help. |

Hi bro.....
I downloaded course and had same problem on TW07, kicked to desktop when course is loading.
I tried to delete CLS folder but no luck, still kicked to desktop.
Course with a lot of libraries ....i think TW07 cant handle this course..... |

Please dont try to play this course in 07, it is not set up for the game. It has 05 trees, the old cls, and a pano that will not show up in 07. The Textures are not for the 07, same with Augusta (the textures in 07 look horrible), and the rest of em. The best ver to play is in 05 in the 05 game, it has galleries, grandstands and all that kind of stuff...I havent even looked at this course in over a year.......
Their is not enough time, to re-do all these old courses and update them. from a design standpoint the courses that I did are for the game it is listed for, if you change games the courses are not set up or adjusted to fit in to that game.

| CH....Thanks for the update. I thought perhaps I had a problem with my video card. I guess the same problem holds true for MERION. It crashes to the desktop during loading also. But I have had success with your OAKMONT and MUIRFIELD courses. They are working just fine on my machine and the graphics look very nice. I guess Ill try some of your others and see what kind of success I have. I really do like your design of the courses and enjoy playing them... so its worth the effort for me to download the files and at least try to get them to work. Thanks again for the info update. |

| The courses are designed for the game they are created. I actually talked to a member at Oakmont, he said they stipped out all the trees, so I can re-do that course in no time at all. But I dont know what it looks like.....So we will see. Muirfield has been updated to 07, so please use the new course instead of the old one. A lot of people had problems with Merion, so I will clean that one up and get it working for 07. |
