Ok.... Im new to 07 but never had these odd experiences before. Ok I put on all the courses from 04-06 onto the new game. I loaded every possible file pretty much by downloading the courses from the new games on the computer and they play but odd things are happening like for these instances. On paradise cove 2006 the water doesnt exist (literally) as you can see the panoram through it. Next on all the custom courses I downloaded for previous games (05 only) have bright green almost glowing trees from far away but look fine from close up. (Augusta 2005, elliots winged foot, hells hole by big, resort at copper canyon, peck island park, northern hills 2005, astoria dunes, and the crazy course as well as my 4 course architect 05 courses. also on only a few 05&06 courses there is an odd gray square around the tree except from upclose as well. Not on 04 courses.
My graphics are fine with a Nvidia Geforce 6500, 256mb and 1.25 gigs of Ram. |

set the atomosphiric lighting to off ,,to fix the square trees...
-not many of the 06 designs work well in TW07 - the developer went to more of the MAYA prgming (<<-that is just a semi educated guess) .. diffrent rendering |

Custom courses from previous years perform differently in TW2007
The colours will be bright looking as the lighting system used in 07 is much brighter.
The new 07 libraries are coloured darker to accomadate for this.
The grey blocks around trees you refer to can be removed by turning off Atmospheric Lighting off in your options. It is caused by 06 trees in 07.
I would only load the older courses you absolutely love into 07 - there are designs being released for 07 that kick butt!! |
