| I have an interesting issue:I was creating a course using course architect 2004 and I am making small land adjustments and all of a sudden the base grass disappears leaving nothing but sky underneath the 1st cut rough. It has the same look as if you were to point the camera off the side of the edge. Next I cant get rid of it even if I hit undo. a year later, as of today, I am creating a course on course architect 2005 and I adjust one sharp edge on a tee box and the same exact glitch happens! Once all this happens I have to go all the way back to my last save point and I no longer can fix up the course without this happening over and over again.It pretty much ruins the course to no repar for me. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, it would be nice to know about it because Ive ruined 2 courses on this so far. If no one knows how to fix this problem I have advice, Dont adjust a course too much using flatten and smooth tools because you might ruin them forever. |

You could try a few different things: you could use the course repair tool to try to fix any invalid points. Also, check your point count on the particular shape ... at around 50,000 points, a shape will become transparent, so you will need to do some optimizing to bring the point count down. If you cant optimize any more, then you could try picking up the shape and dropping it, which would re-set the points and allow you to optimize some more.
