Some suggestions to help with your round if you are interested. Also available in a Google Doc

Hole 1- Shots that stay left off the tee will give you a good look at the green but will take a lot of distance off your shot. Let it rip to maximize distance and aim for the palm tree if you decide to go for it in two. The green is fairly simple.

Hole 2- Driver can be hit but is not necessary. Once again, a tee shot on the left gives you a good view of a short approach shot. This green slopes heavy back to front unless the pin is on the shelf front left.

Hole 3- This is a pretty straightforward hole that plays downhill. Avoid the fairway bunkers off the tee. Your second shot will play truer to the yardage than you may think.

Hole 4- Take in the scenery and the bay for a second. Then make sure you miss long or left if you do miss. This hole plays very true to its yardage. This is probably the most difficult green on the course.

Hole 5- Remember this hole is uphill before you try to carry the the deep jungle off the tee. You will need driver but don't cut it too close. Club up for your second shot and don't be afraid to play a conservative approach. Par is a good score here.

Hole 6- Big hitters can carry the bunker and try to drive the green unless the wind is in your face. A layup is not a bad option off the tee. The fairway slopes down toward the green and the green runs front to back.

Hole 7- Driver isn't necessary and clubbing down takes the narrow passage between the bunkers and water out of play. It isn't a difficult drive if you do pull out the big stick. Short is disastrous on the approach and this green is very straightforward.

Hole 8- This hole can play many different ways depending on pin position and wind. There are multiple levels to this green so staying on the correct tier is the key. The green is very big even though it may not appear to be from the tee box.

Hole 9- Your driver should stay in the bag unless there is a headwind. The drive is uphill but then the hole flattens out. This is a very easy green to hit because the cliffs will rebound balls back onto the green. The green has an average back to front slope.

Hole 10- This is a picturesque hole and the fairway is open to many different types of drives. Stay out of the bunkers and give yourself a good angle to a long, narrow green that has two tiers and is heavily guarded by bunkers.

Hole 11- One extra club is needed for this uphill par 3. As is the case on many holes here, missing short should be avoided at all costs. Long is not terrible but the green does slope back to front.

Hole 12- This is a very difficult drive. The ball does not carry as much as you would expect and the fairway slopes hard to the left. Your second shot will be downhill and difficult to judge. The green slopes toward the back but is pretty forgiving.

Hole 13- This hole plays way downhill and missing long here is bad. Club down and play for the center if the green. A left to right wind or a helping breeze can both pose some problems. This green has some tricky slopes but is generally not hard to putt on.

Hole 14- There are several decisions to be made here. If the wind is at your back it is almost impossible to hold the green with a drive. It's much better to go for the green into the wind. Just don't forget this hole does play a little uphill. If you lay up off the tee remember the green is tiny and you will want to eliminate spin on your approach. There is a lot of slope on the green and a front right pin makes it even trickier.

Hole 15- Bombs away off the tee. The fairway is easy to hit and the left side gives you a slight chance to get home in two. The second shot is way uphill and laying up is recommended. Avoid the bunkers and try to find a flat lie. The green rewards short approach shots and will yield birdies to smart golfers.

Hole 16- A slight fade is the best ball flight off the tee. Try to hug the bunker line on the right to give yourself a good distance for your second shot. This green is huge but does not play too difficult.

Hole 17- This is definitely a two shot par five if you can carry the bunker that divides the fairway. If the wind is in your face that will not be possible. This is a very straightforward hole and doesn't present too many problems. Just don't forget it's uphill the whole way.

Hole 18- The finishing hole plays way downhill and gives one final view of the ocean. Take the wind and the drop into consideration off the tee. A drive in the fairways gives you a great chance to end your round with a birdie. The green slopes back to front, going against the natural slope of the land.
