Hello,
I recently purchased Tiger Woods 06 for the PC off of Amazon. After a few attempts to install the program on my PC, I noticed it kept hanging up at about ~96% and on the tpc.tcl and tpc.tcr files (which I think is the Troon course). I manually opened the CD in file explorer and found that even while trying to manually copy the files off the disc, it would copy just fine until it reached the TPC folder and then the transfer rate would plunge to 0KB/s and hang there indefinitely, while the CD drive continued to run full speed. It appears to me that the files are either corrupt or something happened to the disc (visually the disc appears fine with no scratches).
My question being, is there a way to legally acquire these few course files to make the game work? I do have the valid CD key code and all for the game and did purchase the product, so its not piracy.
Thank you |

Hello, are you sure you have enough space left on your PC to install the game ? You probably have enough space, but maybe worth to check. |

Jimbo,
Please see attached the proof of CD possession and my key/serial code on the manual (obviously redacted). The install process goes well until I hit the same two files on the courses disc in the TPC folder (tpc.tcl & tpc.tcr). It appears they are not existent on the CD as even a manual attempt at copying goes fine until those files then hangs at zero transfer rate.
Without creating an ISO, I am not sure even getting the files from you would help. Doesn''t the install process need to create them in sequence? What if the files are already in the folder when the install gets to them? Will it try to overwrite? |

Gunpower61,
I did check this. Hard drive has ~500GB free, so certainly good there. |

Just for information:
Copy and paste the course folder ( and library inside that folder ) is not enough. All installed courses also have a registry entree in the windows registry. |
