Hello, one of our designers is trying to make a pano and its not working on Win7.
Does it have to be done on XP ?

| i've always compiled it with XP, although i think you can design,prepare it first with W7 |

Thanks, I have my Virtual XP working again. I haven't made a pano in years and about forgot how to do it.I have the 12 segments made,and created the lib, compiled in
xp and it didnt show up. Ill keep trying. :) |

you followed the tutorial mcbruce made long ago ?

you might have to use a different 12Seg.obj file - which changes the height of the pano for TW08, which is 1000 feet higher than in TW06
it goes in the pano folder where your 12 seg files are along with some other LC files
there''''s one in mcbruce''''s download (above) but i was using one that jimbo did specifically for 08
can''''t find it now but will look around in some backups and older hard drives to see where i stashed the installed LC and the pano files i created
hopefully rob (rslay) will chime in with what he uses, and maybe even upload his .obj file :)

| yes seems i remember there was something i had to put in the pano folder but dont have it now. |

12Seg.obj file will install with LC but yeah - need modded one for tw08
i'll dust off some backups/hdd and see if i can find it for you
thought there was one in utils section but couldn't find it |

| Yes i did a search too, but can t find the 12Seg.obj from Hiker Bob so far, i will look on my old system tomorrow. |

This was posted in the shoutbox by Jim (Jimbo63): Mike I only used the 12 seg from Mcbruces tutorial for my panos and it always worked.
It does say it is for 07 panos
Have you tried adjusting the horizon? |

So you and Mark are testing the pano on the same course in TW08 game ?
You can t see a TW08 created Pano in TW06 game, but when you both tested it in TW08 game then you should see it in the game, weird only Mark can see it. |
