| I have inserted bird/other sounds in a tca but when compiled into tcr they do not appear in TW08. The game setting are correct, even other course sounds appear but not this one. The tcr file is large @ 27mb due to 2 courses laid on the plot. Could it be the file is too big for sounds to appear. Anyone any clues as to the problem? |

The way we are playing here you might want to throw the clubs in the lake. If you throw the clubs in the lake, you might miss the lake.

The sounds must be created with the correct settings to hear them in the compiled course.
I remember some architects created new sounds and they heared the sounds in the course architect file, but not in the compiled course because the sound settings were not correct.

But i think you are using an older sound library that was used in many courses before, and the sounds are working in other courses.
So i am not sure why it is not working in your compiled course Lawrence. Maybe you are correct, maybe it is because of the big size of your course ?
Maybe other architects have an idea ?

| Thanks for the heads-up Pat, but the lib I am using is Birch Creek Sounds. I have used this lib before on other courses and they have worked as intended, but not this one. I think the tcr size is "red Herring" as the stock courses are between 40-60Mb and sounds appear OK. Mine is 29mb but no sounds. So at the moment it remains a mystery. |
