Both on Win 7 x64 and Win XP x32. Microsoft Intellimouse and an edge. Never had probs in past. Normaly 102-103 with green swing using stiff shafts.

Now 100%. 102 once in a while. 92-99 are common. I dont want to seem cocky but this is unacceptable playing highest level Expert scratch tournies against best there are.

I have tried a new mouse. Same Intellimouse I am used to for 10 years. Just installed a new Hard drive with win7. Tried different shafts. Nothing seems to work.

Any thoughts?

Hiya Bill,

Not sure this will help, but maybe worth to try it:
First thing you can try is to turn down your graphics settings a bit ( maybe you have unstable fps ).
Did you upgrade graphis driver, maybe different graphics driver settings can cause the problem.
you can try lowering the resolution in the game as well. sometimes that helps.

Maybe you can find some help here:

I actually have always had to run a frame rate limiter (set at 50) or my frames are too high.

Similar probs for the last few moonths, seems possibly related to Win7 updates and/or graphics drivers updates. Working through it now trying to find the culprit.

What FR limiter do you use/recommend, as I'm having that issue as well :)

Thanks

This was posted for Win8.1 but works for win7 aswell:

http://www.howto-connect.com/slow-functioning-of-mouse-in-windows-8-1-while-playing-games-fix/

This is what it says in the link:

Microsoft tells that this problem happens because of changing some input settings of Mouse. Sometimes it would automatically be fixed after restarting of PC. If you are facing slow mouse problem too on your Windows 8.1 PC while playing game, Follow the steps below to fix.

Disable display scaling on high DPI settings:
--------------------------------------------

1. Quit from the Game when you fell trouble.

2. Create a Shortcut of your game at your desktop (To create shortcut right click on the Game icon and click on create shortcut).

3. Right click on the Game Shortcut with Mouse.

4. A Dialogue box will open, click on Properties option.

5. In properties click on the tab Compatibility.

6. Disable display scaling on high DPI settings.

7. Tick on the Run this program as an administrator.

8. Then click on OK.

I ended up deleting almost everything and did clean installs. Seems to have cleared up the mouse glitches for now. Will see how it goes...
