As a course designer from way back when I made 3 courses in TW04, I tried to download the courses and associated libraries this past weekend to play in TW08.
Via golf caddy the courses and libraries are being installed but every time I go to play one of the TW04 courses, TW08 crashes.
Has anyone else been able to play 04 courses in TW08?
the courses are Big Kahuna Waters, Pinewood and Rumbleweed, I am the designer of these courses.
Thanks
Terry |

It's just hit or miss. Some do, some don't. |

Yes you will need a lot of luck to play a TW04 course in TW08. The game engine EAsports used for the TW04 and TW05 game is different with the game engine they used for TW06, TW07 and TW08 game. |

Pat, does that mean that a 2004 or 2005 .tca file cannot be used in CA2006? |

No 04 courses will work in 08. The trees are the prob. I think 05 started where trees blew in the wind.
I think some 05 courses work if they dont have 04 trees on them. |
