If I get TW 08, and want to download courses, can I use those courses in the career mode for TW 08?
For example, lets say I wanted there to be a Masters Tournament in my career mode? Can I set that up if I have the course downloaded, or is it a no-go?
[Please forgive me if this is covered somewhere but my searches weren't turning up anything specific to what I wanted to know - granted, there were lots of results but not as relevant as I needed]

The matter was solved higher up in this forum,under Sovled TW 08 how to create a career, just one word of warning though,if your new players attributes are low =no power,you will find some custom courses hard to play,a newly created player can only hit a Driver about 235 yards

When and if you get the game you create a player with your name or a name , you can chose Amatuer or Pro player, the Amatuer Player has no Attributes = no power and the first stages you have to play against Hack CPU players, if you create a Player and chose Pro you will get 75% Attributes and $100,000 to spend !but i dont think you enter the Tiger Tour, the 75% Attributes are enough power to play online , wwwgame ranger.com , or Hamachi , or Tunggle,
Custom player with Millions and hit ball miles :)

Thanks for the reply - I've read that post about the career a few times.
I don't have TW 06 or 07 so I'm unclear on what that post is accomplishing I guess? Like, I don't know what that process would give me since I haven't played 06 or 07 and not sure what the differences are?
Does that make sense?

Well i would buy the game, it is good that is TW 2008, may be you can get one on ebay/ amazon or EA may still have the download version , better to have a dvd version though imo.

install it then if you need any thing else just post here, I would play some stock courses first , you need the TW Caddie tool to install custom courses 32 bit or 64 bit depending on your OS.
i have never had TW 2007 but have TW 2006 & TW 2008 installed |
