posting for a friend...he lost most of his aiming arrow and can't get it to come back..this is not the wind arrow..any help

best way to regain lost/missing game display items is

open TW
click on Options (wrench icon) on main screen
click on Video (box with 3 coloured lines icon)
Note what Screen Resolution you currently have set
click on Restore Defaults
- this will set your display to 800x640 and move all the game screen icons to their default positions
- it will not change any sound, graphics etc settings

start a game and see if arrow there
then go back to options, change screen resolution to what it used to be
then start game and rightclick/hold/drag any icons you want to move
