| I have windows 8 on my computer now how can I get caddie to work so I install courses, any help would be great. Thanks |

| Not sure about the caddie but if you have an ATI video card TW08 wont work on Win8 |

TW Caddie08 help:
On win8 you will have to run TW Caddie08 as administrator.
Also be sure to install the correct version of TW Caddie08 (; 32bit or 64 bit )
Follow instructions below:
How can you find out you have a 32 bit or 64 bit system:
1.Touch or click on System and Security within Control Panel.
Note: You wont see a System and Security link in Control Panel if your view is set to either Large icons or Small icons. If so, find System and touch or click on it, then skip to Step 3.
2.With the System and Security window now open, click or touch System.
3.With the System applet now open, titled View basic information about your computer, find the System area, located under the large Windows 8 logo.
The System type will say either 64-bit Operating System or 32-bit Operating System
When you found out go to TWCaddie08 download page on link below:
http://www.coursedownloads.com/extras/category.asp?id=1&gameid=11
On that page you will see 2 download links:
when you have win8 32bit.... download this one:
TW Caddie 08 v1.5
when you have win8 64bit... download this one:
TW Caddie 08 x64 Beta
When you installed TwCaddie08 correct, you will see icon on your desktop.
On desktop right click the TWCaddie08 icon.....choose: Properties....compatibility...and check box: Run as administrator...and click: Apply
Note: when you have problems to run the TW08 game on win8:
On desktop you should have TW08 program icon.
1.
On your desktop, right-click the TW08 icon and choose Properties.
2.
When the Properties dialog box appears, click the Compatibility tab and then click the Run Compatibility Troubleshooter button.
In its robotic way, Windows 8 tries to guess what version of Windows your program needs, and then it applies the changes. If the program begins working, youre through.
If the program still has trouble, though, move to Step 3.
3.
In the Compatibility Mode section, select the Run This Program in Compatibility Mode For check box and select Win7 from the drop-down list.
4.Click OK and then try running TW08 again to see whether it works better. |

Hi Steve, yes xp was easier to do... lol.
A few steps to do on Win8, but it should work after you did it. |
