Hi guys,
You have two different Oakmont Courses posted. Which one idth real course?? They both play completly different from on another. They are both for TW08.

| Designing any course is hard, let alone trying to simulate a real design for a video game. On my course, which I have not even looked at in a few years, wanted a few features on this release. #1 The USGA removed all the trees, so Oakmont 1994 vs 2007, looks totally different. I also wanted the shaping of the design to groove to a geometric pattern. Oakmont has insane greens at very fast speeds, these greens are 13+ on DRY, this was done by design. The goal was to design a challenging course with advanced game play. You would have to ask Ron about his thoughts about his course. There are also two Shinnecock Hills courses, but again my course meaning Shinnecock was created to play a certain way and to simulate a US Open. Homeboys course was designed how he wanted it. Also keep in mind these courses were designed 5 to 6 years ago. |

There are some great courses designed these days, BUT, Hyno...Homeboy...Danut...Ken McHale...etc...you guys course are still on my XP computer, and were the 1st ones I installed on my new(for me)WIN 7 computer. The courses not only look great they PLAY TRUE. THANKS VERY MUCH for those 5/6 year old courses, they are still the best.
