Hi,

I would like to ask any of you if it's possible to adjust the size of the 2click or 3click shot slidemeter.
I'm asking this because a old geezer saw me play this game and like to try it but he's got a eyesight issue and finds it very hard to see the slider.

Thx.

He would like that but he’s got Parkinson’s disease, I showed it to him but even on Novice it’s impossible for him to put.

Thanks for the link but I’ve looked at that one already… What I mean is more like twice as big an interface.

It’s probably one of those two .dds files or maybe both of them where some the values need to be changed but I’m no Modder.
I would try it myself if I knew how to open those files and know what line(s) to change, that way, next time I'm visiting I can alter the files until he's comfortable with it.

Thx,

Pat it is not as simple as just enlarging those two .dds files, I have just tried that and it did not work.

Hi Jim, thanks for the message, yes just resizing the DDS files is not working.
I tried to resize the DDS files to 512 x 512 pixels.
But the game automatic resizes the modified DDS files to the original size: 256 x 256 pixels
Will have to try something else.

If you delete both those files it leaves a white square in the game. Must be something in the game telling it to leave a square that size, but where is the problem.

That's very unfortunate..

Thanks for the effort and time spent on it guy's, I hope someone will come up with a way of resizing it so I can give an old guy a game.

perhaps this version would be easier for him

http://www.vtreeentertainment.com/index.php/games/my-golf-game

Other players can use tradional controllers like a keyboard, mouse and an XBOX360®™ controller. Easy to learn and play. Lifetime non-gamers can learn quickly and teach the youngsters a thing or two. Finally an entertaining, traditional styled video game that is INCLUSIVE. Our games get children and adults with cognitive and physical challenges into the game with special features you will not find in other games in this class.

I started from the 3 click (; 2 click ) meter that is available for download here.
Made the numbers from 1 to 10 twice as big, and in the gradation you will see colors when you do your swing.
I attached pic, see pic below:
In post below you can download the modified swingmeter when you want to try it.

have you considered playing links golf with your freind, there is an option in that game to enlarge the 3 click shot meter, the game itself plays pretty much the same as tw doeas and has lots of add ons and extra courses just like this has, it also allows golfers to select an easy stroke method where basicly they just point to where on the overhead they want to aim and it will do that,
