| ever since i enabled user accounts on my pc i have not been able to finish the last hole on the k club. my computer 2gb ram 4 ghz ht 1gb vram, this is very frustrating i've tried atleast 50x with different compatibles, different user security one the exe files, and even put in new confidence files and every time it crashes after the ball goes in hole or after the cut screen from a nice shot at that point it should be loading the career room, instead just crashes to desktop, i took control of all document files from old admin accounts and put them back into new accounts my documents |

Not sure what the problem is, but did you do the confidence folder fix ?
There is a fix called the Confidence Folder fix.
When you played some courses you will see the loading times between holes are increasing, the game will become slower and slower.
Do next steps to solve the problem:
1) On desktop you will see the folder My Documents. Open this folder.
( for win7 or vista: on desktop go to folder User....My Documents )
2) Inside look for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008. Open this folder and then open the folder Career
3) Inside Career open the folder Players. Inside this folder, look for your playersname folder and open it.
4) Open the folder Confidence.
5) Inside you will find these files: Hole Type.tcn and Shot Type.tcn. delete both files.
6) Important step here! Restart the TW08 game and play 1 hole on any stock course, then close TW08 game.
7) Go back to same Confidence folder and you will see both files are regenerated: but now they are very small in size. Now right click the Hole Type.tcn file and choose Properties. Check the box next to Read Only and click OK. Now do the same thing for the Shot Type.tcn file. |

yes I use the confidence fix, everything runs absolutely smooth, but Im trying to finish a crashed game so Im starting where it left off which is the last hole of the last day of a tournament so I dont want to just quit and skip. I have never experience this kind of crash before, it should goto career room with the tv and desk like any other time you finish a round of golf instead it crashes to desktop.
Biggest note on this crash, I had no problems before I had no user accounts on my PC, I enabled a new admin and guest account for my friends. this is the first time I tried to play since I made new accounts, another note Ive tried playing on the other accounts as well still the same crash. |

| Those Amature ranked in-game tournies for me are long and boring ,plus you have to build up the Attributes and win very modest amounts of money,so for example for a new challenge,create a new player chose Pro and enter straight into the Fedex Cup Tournies |

| Actually I've cycled through 4 years already through the game, and I messed up in the last year and didn't realize it but I skipped 3 months and didn't have enough wins to do the majors.. and pro mode your attributes start at 75 and stay there which isn't fun for me I like too try and get green in 1 on most par 5's. and I'm still trying to get an albatross on a par 4 one of the trophies I'm missing. |

| In order for TW to work it must be run from the same user that installed it. There are file / folder permissions and if these are not correct for the user running the game, you will experience what you are describing. |

Yep an easier way is to down load one of my custom players / Seve Ballesteros, Ian Baker Finch or Steve McQueen , they all have 100 % attributes and lots of Money, ? hittting par 5 `s in 1 i doubt it, the max you may hit with a power shot is about 330 or a shade more unless you have a very strong wind behind you, the Pro player set up @ 75 % Attributes is good enough for on-line play, |
