created new golfer distances way off,im using windows 7. Tried intermediate and expert and same problem even with the recommeded clubs ball and shafts the ball is playing so short,i had this problem before dont recall how i fixed it.If i play a 7iron no wind or elevation to a 175 yard par 3 hit the ball clean the ball only travels about 162 yards.
Any help appreciated |

On online play all stats for golfer is 75.Offline the stats for a pro created is also all 75.
The best is to create a pro golfer so stats will be the same as online play.A new created amateur player stats starts at 0 all.Best is to set a lan game with your player to practise your distances then all stats will be 75.Hope this helps you since i know u lost your previous game installation... |

Hi....
On windows7 you will have fast swing, i had same problem.
On win7 use: Stiff flex shafts........and you will have normal swing, and you will win distance.
I am not sure about offline play, but the equipment made a difference on online play.
For example when you use stiff flex shafts you will win some distance, but the ball direction will be a bit harder to control.
Also depends what level you play.....novice....intermediate...advanced or expert.
Not sure it will make any difference on Novice, but it made difference on expert level.
I played all available tours on expert level from 2005....until 2009, and equipment below gave me the best results on online play.
A lot of my teammates used the same equipment in TW08:

its not stats set 75 it is Attributes ,create player chose Pro you get 75 %attributes and $100,000, if you want About $3,000,000 and 100% attributes ,download my Severiano Ballesteros, Ian Baker Finch or Steve McQueen
