hi
had a problem with tw08, so had to reinstall
lost all my player info attributes and power etc
i did see a post on this, i had a backup a while ago , i backed up the folder tiger woods pga tour 08 under my documents, i put this folder back but it hasnt put my player details back looks like i have lost it all and have to start again .
and how i can successfully back it up again so i dont lose it, i will have to make regular copies.
can someone elaborate on how i get my details back again. and the best way to copy player details and be able to restore them with out any problems.

Hiya Stephen....
Yes it is possible to save your career.
On desktop go to folder: My Documents..........inside you will find folder: Tiger Woods PGA Tour08
( when you are using Vista or Win7 or win8 or Win10: on desktop look for folder: User (or username).....inside you will find folder: Documents...and inside you will find folder: Tiger Woods PGA Tour08 )
This is the folder (Tiger Woods PGA Tour08) you will have to save to a location on your PC.
When you saved folder (Tiger Woods PGA Tour08) you can uninstall TW08.
When you reinstalled TW08 game:
First you need to create the golfer profile with exactly the same name you used before
Important: Now play 1 hole on any course, and close TW08 game.
Now go back on desktop to folder: Documents.....and inside replace the folder: Tiger Woods PGA Tour08......with the one you saved before.
Very Important: There is another folder with same name:Tiger woods PGA Tour08.... on next location:
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08
Don t save this folder!!!! you will have to save the one located in: Documents.

| Also if you are using a custom player, you need to create the golfer profile with the same name as previous before playing the one hole. Then when you restore everything will be fine |

Question...when saving the Tiger Woods PGA Tour08 Folder...
can you save it to a USB drive or an external hard drive...
rather than the desktop...to use to install later, in case
it is needed for what ever reason ???

Hey everyone....does anyone here in this group have a 100% save file for Tiger Woods Pga Tour 06, 07, & 08 which includes all the trophy balls collected and completed team tours, & tiger challenge(for Tiger Woods Pga Tour 08) & etc? appreciated if anyone can share for me in this forum....thanks
And to add things up...i have to tried using my Tiger Woods Pga Tour 08 save profile on Tiger Woods Pga Tour 07 pc and i found out that the Team Tour & PGA Tour tournaments doesn''t seems to work....so should i reset the career with the profile or have to create a new profile? any suggestions given will be appreciated! |
