the default courses in tw2004 still have their environment sounds like wind, birds etc.
how do i get ambient sounds back in custom courses? anyone else notice this?

courses like augusta, cimarron valley, firestone that i downloaded in the past from here used to have sounds, like birds in particular. now they don't. all other sounds like announcers, ball strike, etc, work fine though.

ive noticed the .ini file in the default courses folders use sounds and the .ini for the custom courses is all called "greencondroughlengthwindspe" and don't call sounds, just sets default conditions. i don't know if this has changed since the last time i downloaded courses or if this is the place that custom created courses use sounds (.ini or .tcr?), but according to this forum the architect of a course either uses sounds or not. I'm certain though that there were sounds, specifically music by the leaderboard on the 1st in augusta, doves in cimarron, and birds in oak hill, firestone. i tried installing on another computer too and same result. all running xp sp3. i wish i could view the .tcr so i can see where it calls for the sounds. i've tried altering/adding/renaming .ini files that contain sounds but nothing works.
