Having seen some of the latest courses, which seem quite mediocre visually, can anyone recommend top top courses, and i mean the best.

Courses like Cantigny GC `08 - Lakeside Woods, Tres Ultimo Golf Club, Lost Woods Golf Club etc

that kind of thing, courses that make your eyes water

Sorry but if you think some of the latest courses are "mediocre" then I don't know what to tell you..

I know for a fact Bali Golf & CC 08 and Golf und Landclub Coesfeld are far far from "mediocre"... In fact they are Top Designs....

No offense to the other designers but those courses come from 2 of the Top Designers IMO...

Depends what skill level and green speed you play. There are alot of courses that are not playable on Expert and very dry.

Off the top of my head.....

Coeue d'alene
Sherwood
Edgewood Tahoe
Mauna Kea
Nicklaus North Whistler
Quail Hollow 2012
PGA West Nicklaus Private 2012
Annandale 2010
banff springs
