I'm running windows 8, when starting TW08 I get the following message:
"This application is not compatible with installed operating system. Please upgrade to Win98SE, WIN2000 or better"
Program ran in Windows 7 and also ran in Windows 8 then just started getting this message.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi...
You said the game worked before, maybe you updated your graphics driver ?
Anyway you can try this: on desktop right click TW08 icon.....choose : Properties....compatibility....Compatibility modus
and in list select Win7
Also check box: Run as administrator

Graphics driver not updated.
The only time I could properties to give me those options was before installation.
After installation it didn't give me that option.

You can try to disable your user account control in win8, some help on link below:
http://www.computerperformance.co.uk/win8/windows8-uac-disable.htm
After that all programs should run as administrator, and you can try again to do the compatibility thing, descibed in my first post. |
