Remember WIN 98, WIN 2000, WIN XP, VISTA, WIN 7, & OMG, Bill Gates just did it again. Some of these OSs were/are strong running systems and User-friendly, some not so much, we all prevailed. I do not own a Smart phone or Tablet therefor IMHO, WIN 8 is another step into the future and one which sooner or later we will all have to upgrade to, whether by use of the Smart phone or just getting over our stubbornness and accept the future.
I also have to question whether or not some of this negativism is caused by some problems with gaming. How many years did we all have to upgrade our systems, video card was the big one, it seemed like 3 years in a row we had to upgrade the VC to play Tiger Woods yet we all did it to continue playing.
I know I will be purchasing a new computer very soon, most likely a Tablet form of some sort. We will all prevail again. We are never to young to learn. Ed

I aint Chasing Tecnonlogy for no one, they can shove it where the sun dont shine, wifes just got a pod ? what aload of crap and the new i phone she got domineers the pod intecepts emails that were set up on the pod.
Kids have them i phones glued to the palm of their hands walkin about with them , doh get a life.
