This just may be the way the game is designed, but I feel like I am legally blind when it comes to finding my way around TW stock golf courses. I can't visually find the fairways or greens. I also can't find the hazards to avoid them. I know that IRL there are blind shots, but usually you can see what lays in front of you. The default camera is a "worm-cam", but even when I adjust the height and distance from my golfer, the view is too fuzzy to adequately aim my shot.
My question, is this just a thing about stock courses, or is it true about user created courses too? |

| Greg you can use hole flyby to see the full hole. Use w key to go forward down the course, s key to go back, a key to go left and d key to go right. f for up and v for down. You can also click on the course overhead to give you a view from that spot and a distance indication. On all levels of play excepting expert you can use the e key to see where your shot would land if played correctly. I may have misunderstood your question and you may already be aware of using these keys |

| I think what I am trying clumsily to say is that there seems to be very little color contrast in the stock courses. Shorter grass is usually a lighter shade of green than lush rough, but not in this game, or at least not in stock courses. Not very defined. Thanks. |

Stock textures stink and the grass blades dont render till you are right on top of them. And the criss cross blades look un-natural.
Thats why I always use custom textures. Not sure why designers still use stock with all the great custum sets available.
