Thought I'd put out a post to let members know where they can invest in the new golf game. http://www.perfectparallel.com/perfect-golf-kickstarter/

Perfect Parallel needs to raise an average of $7275.00 a day for the next 40 days for their work to get launched. They have the knowledge and skill to do this. I myself only make $30,000 a year. I've been saving and getting out of debt for the last 4 years since the global downturn. Was saving to buy a house. Lots of uncertainty. But I'll gladly give a couple of months of cable, internet, and phone and a month's rent to get their project off the ground. Think about it. To me it's worth it, I gave a thousand. I urge all of you to also. Give what you can and hope for the best. Stay positive, Peace.

Yes they are doing a great job, it looks very impressive so far.
They want to support online play, and they want to create a course designer.
One of the team members is one of top course designers for the former Microsoft Links game, Mike Jones.
They have the skills, no doubt, they just need to raise the money because they are no big company.
So i will support Perfect parallel aswell.

Rob, great kick in. I did the same myself. Looking to get this into realization. I think they will make it.

Actually, you will not need a high end gaming machine to run this Sim in a satisfactory manner. This will be a state of the art golf Sim in every way. A great CA, online tournament play as well as extensive offline play options. Really, everything everybody has wanted here for as long as I can remember. For me it's really a dream come true. I know very little about most of the guys involved in this project. I do however have had several correspondences with Mike Jones, and knowing what a talented stand-up guy he is, was good enough for me to pledge $100.00. I am retired and on a tight budget, but I really want this to become a reality. They really need all the support they can muster because this development is a very expensive venture. There will be no unfulfilled promises from these guys, just a first rate true Golf Simulation.

That course design software looks amazing and extremely easy to use. Hope the kickstarter reaches the target.

Although I would love to see this new golf sim come out, the way they are doing this kickstarter is rediculous. Yes, I understand others are using this idea and it can work, but that is when your target comsumer is millions.

I think the PP people are highly overating how many people play golf on the PC. We are only talking about a few thousand people.

Yeah it looks pretty but the way the game plays is where its at. They are showing prelims of details that dont matter. Show us the info on game play and server details. Is the game a one time price or do we need to buy extras like clubs etc.

They need to at least get a working game going with Beta testers as a minimum to start.

WOW that course architect looks absolutely amazing. I want it now. I hope your wrong Bill and this does come to fruition but I do share your reservations. One thing I would say though is that if the gameplay is as good as the course designer looks then I'd imagine most PC golfers would switch to this, and hopefully sites like this one would support it too. Fingers crossed, really hope this makes it.

Hey Neil,

great to see that u are alive bud :-). I agree to your comment as i do to Bills. But counting the facts is that they got nothing than a good looking fly by video and a great looking architect and thats it. They tried to reach an amount of 300000$ on the kickstarter with that staff they got already and havent even reached 20k tho. I honestly dont believe that them guys provide a finnished game in the next 5-6 years because they run out of money and wont looking for a serius investor because they dont want share any decisions. And lets get another fact how many PC golfers are still out there? worldwide maybe 50000? and mostly of them are kids who looking for an arcarde game and not a simulation. On all that facts i hardly believe that that game hits the market on any time. No question that we all would love to get a game like that but i guess this way they try to is the wrong way.

There will be a second Kickstarter campaign coming soon. The first one was not successful for many reasons, one of those being that no one knew what Kickstarter.com was...

Many of us posted their Kickstarter banner or direct link on our sites. Combine that exposure with the hundreds of emails that got sent from us original site members. Now multiply the forwarded emails by our recipients. That's a lot more people now aware of Kickstarter.com and PerfectGolf.

Kickstarter didn't work because PP is highly overestimating the number of people that still play PC golf. Only a few thousand of us left at best.

If they cant get 300k together to start a business than they should give up. They still dont even have a playable game or beta. They keep showing stupid things like driving carts around and the graphics of the stitching on the glove. Who cares about that crap. Game play is what I want to see.

It appears you (;have to be sarcastic) in all your replies to anyones posts. Be that as it may...

There are too many freeloaders out their in the world that will not support a company, or even read about how Kickstarter works, not only to help the company but help themselves have another great golf game.

But! I do believe that PerfectParallel with get their game to market.

When the new Kickstarter campaign is launched, Ill pledge $250.00 again. Ill bet there will be far more people pledging next time around. The word is out about the game and since it is tax time in the USA, they are being smart and holding back until everyone goes through the tax-man phase.
