It is a very nice course, but yes it will use a lot of resources on your PC system. Someone else wrote in the comments section, he had problems aswell on this course. |

Hi, as in most my courses i use 20,000-30,000 objects and many structures, I know that some computers might be laggy with that many objects but I build them to please my eye and to simulate the most life i can get on a course. Most courses, seem barren of plants and structures which makes them feel empty and lifeless to me. Mine are built at the limit of which my computer can fully render the textures and objects with no problem. I am using a 8 yr old Sony Vaio Desktop with a Pentium 4 3.2GHz with 2GB ram and a pci express Radeon HD 6670 video card set at 1680x1050 res. I really like as much eye candy, bling, life, and richness of my courses that few others have......Rob |

Ok thats fine but rob my pc has much better specs thats what i cant understand. It eats all other courses on max settings with no drop in fps. I like your course though, very nice lots of detail,it maybe an issue with my operating system or maybe issue with my psu. |

Yes i just compared your video card to mind and you should be able to easily run that course with no problems. I know it has long sightlines on the course, which can cause some lag for some computers. I do keep my shader on low, is that the only course of mine that you have problem with lag? If it is, than i would say that its something to do with that course. Maybe you might not be able max out the setting on that course only. Intrigue Island gives me the slowest frame rates which has over 30,000+ objects, I do have a updated improved version of Intrigue Island with nearly 40,000 objects that my computer does better running than the older version, but i do not play online so how my computer would do playing over the internet i don't know. I really wish i could give you a better answer...Rob |
