I recently had to re install TW08. It has always worked flawlessly on my system. But now when I click on options button in game...the game just goes off..no black screen..not to desktop..not like a crash..just like you hit exit??? Everything else works fine. I have re installed 3 times..same thing!

Could you take a screenshot of the game screen for me?
Also, have you tried this on more than one course? |

There are 2 ways to go the Options screen.
1. When you start TW08.....on main screen you will find: Options
2. When you are playing a course...and you go in the menu...options.
You have the problem on both ways to access the Options screen ? |

In-game by pressing at he same time: CTRL o that will bring up the options screen as well

| I have tried main screen & in game..both makes game quit...Ctrl o does nothing. I had universal patcher installed before...re installed and un patched. Still does the same thing, i have a 26" lcd 1920x1200 could that be the problem. I have played this game on this computer for years..never a problem. |

Hiya Phil...
When you are using Win7 or Vista, try this:
Right click TW08 icon on desktop, choose Properties....compatibility...and on bottom check box: Run as administrator...and hit Apply. |

Did you try to change your pc to another screen resolution ?
Try to change your PC to a lower screen resolution, and after that start TW08 again. |

what does ctrl + K do ??
should open the scorecard (;in a game)
ctrl + M = return to main menu/quit game
if those dont work either - then maybe time for a reinstall again, perhaps the last one was corrupt somewhere |
