Is kapalua anywhere to download? And princeville? I found them under 2004 courses, but there was no link to download? Am I missing them somewhere? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

there are no EA stock courses available for download
think they are listed as 'placeholders' in the database
and/or because the related stock course library IS available
EA always - sometimes eventually in their later years - gave permission for sites to host the stock libraries (to be used in custom designs)
but never the courses |

| The EA stock courses are a leftover from when we used to run a tour on the site. The tour would pull course info from the course database, so we had to have the stock courses listed in order to have that information for the tour pages. Stock courses have never and will never be available for download. |

Makes sense!! So if I still have the old TW versions which include the Kapalua course, is there any way to play it on 2k8?

If you have the older CDs, you can install the courses into TW08. There is no guarantee that any of the stock courses prior to 2006 will work, but you can always try.
Here is one way to do this...
1) Browse your older CD until you find the course you want to install.
2) Copy the entire course folder from the CD to your desktop.
3) Once on your desktop, right click on the folder and select Send To...Compressed Folder. This will create a zip file containing everything in the course folder.
4) Use the TW Caddie to install. This should install both the stock library (;TCL) and the course itself.
Once installed, you can remove both the course folder and the zip file from your desktop.
In the Utilities area of the site, there are different course splash screens and logo files for the 2006 and 2007 stock courses that are formatted for 2008 (;see links below). The splash screens and logos changed for 08, so those versions were created so they have the same look and feel as the other 08 courses.
