Due to computer crash and game reinstall, I have a custom course I've spent many hours on I'm trying to resurrect. When I open it in CA, it looks like it always did. When I try to compile it to play, CA crashes. I'm fairly certain this happens because in my CA and TW2006 reinstall I'm missing at least 1 library used in my pre computer crash) design. Pretty sure I know which one- C7CC3642-F7D7-440F-B190-8AE98C96852A- which when searching libary files in CourseDownloads is Augusta 2004- rev 1.
Tried to download and reinstall this library. Install tool says its different from the earlier version. I need to delete earlier version and install newer version. Problem is the earlier version is not on my computer anywhere.
I had this problem once before, and I believe the "solve" was to cloak this missing library. Is that correct, or is there another solution? Stripping libraries?
Looking forward to your replies. Happy Mother's Day to all.

If you CAN find that lib in th Cloaking Tool, then you CAN find it in the 06 course utilities and you CAN uninstall it there. If its not in the CU then it shouldnt show up in the CLTOOL.. Dont strip anything!!! If you like, send me the tca and I will see what I can see, if you need me too...I pmd you..

Some extra info:

There are 2 versions of that library released:
Augusta 2004
Augusta 2004- rev 1.

You can only have 1 of both installed, because they have the same guid number.

When you open CLTool06 and you can see in libraries list: Augusta 2004- rev 1.... or.... Augusta 2004

Cloak the library (; Augusta 2004- rev 1... or.... Augusta 2004 )

After that try to reinstall the library: Augusta 2004- rev 1...with CLsetup06 or course utilities06

According to CL Tool neither library is currently installed. Library install says the earlier version is installed as ". Attached is what I see in CL Tool. I am puzzled.

As jbcalg said in previous post, it might be a sticky library.
On link below you will find help how to remove sticky libraries with CLTool06, read second post:

Update:
I just downloaded library: Augusta2004 rev 1
I installed it and received the same error message: Augusta 2004 is already installed....
This is the problem:
In the downloaded zipfile there are 2 libraries included. ( We will have to correct this on Coursedownloads )
Augusta
Augustarev

Both libraries have the same guid number, so only one can be installed. The installer first installs Augusta, and after that the installer tries to install augustarev, but since it has the same guid number it will not install Augustarev.

So when you want augusta2004 rev 1:
First uninstall augusta2004 library in TW06.
After that look in the downloaded zipfile, and inside remove augusta2004.
So now you have a zipfile with only: Augusta2004 rev 1
Install it in TW06 with cLsetup06 or Course utilities06

The Augusta2004 rev 1 library zip file has been corrected to only include 1 TCL file.
