| i know jack niclause and arnold palmer have been extractid from the 2005 version for use in 08, but was wondering if the likes of seve and other players from earlier versions have also been done,i had a look myself on the 2005 dic,s but couldnt find a players folder on any of the 3 disks |

| tx for reply ,but what i was getting at was the actual ea created golfers like niclause and palmer where they get introduced on tee and such,im aware of the gr8 user created one,s available,also i d/l a small file awhile back where it replaced some of the cartoon player pictures with real one,s and was wondering if this is available for all created golfers or can some one explain how to create the pictures in game, as i have every tour players picture available on file in my links golf folder and would convert if i knew how ? |

I once moved a player i had created from TW -2006 to TW-2008.
The files example from TW 2008 = My Documents/ Tiger Woods Tour 2008 / Career / Players ,thats the folder the The main Player folder is in & the Player PLR file.
Also the Abilty folder in there is the Player aia.file , cal. file and hal. file.
You may try to port the Players from TW 2005 copy&paste the files to the correct folders as above, but the Anouncer / Comentary sounds wont go with them.

I will be getting a copy of TW 2006 this weekend, again, the Player i once moved from TW-06 to TW-08 I had created, it was not one of the Stock Players, although i will try to move a Stock Player from TW06 to TW-08.
The what i call Stock Players for example in TW-08 { John Daly } these Players features ,clubs,cannot be altered via the EA interface,these players obviously you can chose to use as your Player.
There are lots of other Players you may see on the Leader boards during the in-game Tournaments, these players like Ernie Els for example you will never see in the game,unless its a custom made one thats been installed , Its only their score you see on the Leader Boards.
Custom players here on coursedownloads are in the utilities section.

The TW 2006 is on it`s way , but just as a quick note i played some one today in TW 2008 who was using Arnorld Palmer from the d/load section here, so i dont know what series Arnie was from ?2004,2006 or even earlier. From the Animation of the Model stricking the ball i assume Arnie was made by EA .
very realistic .
I`ll give him a run out on 9 holes.
{edit up date} Arnie works just fine in TW-2008 although his driving is maxed out @ about 280 yards.The animations and the realistic swing is great fun and the Commentators do use his name. |
