Hi one and all.Got TW04 installed on my pc and decided for the first time to add some extra real courses but problems are afoot.First of all apologies if this as been asked before, did a forum look and search but could not find anything.Anyway I have installed a course plus missing libraries with csl. When I go to the game I can see the new course listed in the course list but when I try to load a error message comes back "Unable to find course"so no load is possible.Any help would be great. Also sorry if I have posted this in wrong section.
Thanks again!!!!

Hiya Mickey...

On desktop....dubble click CLsetup04 icon...and close popup screen, on top left side click: File.....Analyze installation.
Clsetup will tell you when you have problems with installed courses.
Always first close TW04 game when you install a course with CLsetup.

When you are using Win7 or Vista:
On desktop right click CLsetup icon....choose properties...and top select: Compatibility....and on bottom check box: Run as administrator....and hit: Apply

Hi Gunpower61 first thanks for your reply and welcome.Regarding the analise button I go to file in csl but I can't see analise as an option?Anyway what I have done is go to my csl folder in my drive and sent the exe application to my desktop.I then put exe into various compatability modes(sorry I run vista)I set to win 98 and tried win 2000 and win xp.I then hit exe in admin mode and selected my firestone cc course(zip file from my downloads folder).Followed the install process with csl and right at the end it came with error "REGSET VALUE EX RETURNED 87" ?? and install unsucessful?
Not sure what is going on.Totally different to my first post.Anyhelp would be great!
Thanks!

sounds like you have the game/course files in the wrong places

did you install the game in d: drive?
default is C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08
or C:\Program Files (x86)\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08 for vista i believe
but will work in other drives with XP, not sure about vista

so check where you have the program installed

with CLSetup
click on Options, then Properties
it wants to install courses in the Root folder (ie where the program is)
suggest you also check off the dedicated folder option on the next line
and also the "remember" option on the next

if the courses or libraries have been installed elsewhere - you may need to uninstall them, then start over with the game install in the (x86) folder

all depends on how PC savvy you are and how much you want to mess with the registry

but as it stands, looks like the game cannot find the files it needs

screenshots would probably help (jpg format best)

try the Analyze function - main CLSetup page, click on File, it's one of the options

or try File, uninstall course, then double click on firestone, it will show you where it is installed
