If your PC takes a long time to power-on or the system is slow in general, it could be that many processes are running in the background that are not necessary. By unchecking these items (search google to make sure what is and what is not needed) your PC may play this game much more smoothly, especially if you have an "onboard video module". This means that the Memory in your computer is shared with the video graphics module on the motherboard. Many of us have standalone video cards which require 500 to 800 Watt Power Supplies (very important to look at the system requirements when upgrading your video card). All desktop computers that include a PCI-e slot can be upgraded to very powerful video cards (realistic price range between $150 to $250) that will boost your visual quality and smoothness of play for PC Golfing and other 3D HD demanding games.

A tip for someone whose desktop is loaded with shortcuts and has their Taskbar filled with Pinned shortcuts.
Activating the QLA (Quick Launch Area) in Windows 7 allows not just Program and URL shortcuts (IE9) but also shortcuts directly to files. I like the QLA better than pinning because I can open a .doc , .txt , etc. with a single click. Pinning to the task bar is a great new feature in W7 but I am very glad M$ gave us the option to activate the QLA. BTW, if you are wondering why I use Classic Theme it's because it's a faster GUI than Aero. This is a medium high-powered gaming machine I built last year but Aero still makes the system lag a few milliseconds. Yep, I want instant gratification! :lol:
