| Can TW 04 courses be installed in TW 08? I installed Spyglass Hill and it seemed to install OK.When I went to run it however, the game crashed to the desktop. Thanks for any help. |

You will need a lot of luck to play a TW04 custom course in TW08, most courses will crash in TW08.
You can try some TW07 and TW06 courses in TW08, but not all courses will work.
I know some people are working on a list of TW06 and TW07 courses that will work in TW08, maybe they will upload the list to coursedownloads site. |

| Thanks for the response Gunpower61. The course I installed was a stock course rather than a user designed. would this make any difference? |

I will try that course now, Spyglass hill ( TW04 ) on my system in TW08.....back in 10 minutes lol

Just installed Spyglass Hill TW04 in TW08.
Same problem here, loading bar goes 40% and game crashes to desktop.
While you may be able to install the 04/05 courses into 08, chances are high that they will not work. Changes to the game engine over the year resulted in the older courses not working in 08. The course will install, but when you go to play it the game will likely crash back to the desktop.

| Older custom courses seem to work better than older stock courses. |
