I am having an problem loading Augusta National 2007 with CL Setup 2007. I'm getting the following errors on the attachment. Did someone do something to the files? Seems that someone else is having problems with another course using the Augusta 2007 rev library. Maybe that has something to do with it?
Thanks |

You will need to uninstall the Augusta 2007 library you have installed and only install the Augusta 2007 Rev library. If I remember correctly on the library, the architect made an update to the library, but it contained the same GUID identifier as his previous version, Augusta 2007. So the CLSetup program is detecting that difference in name. Just ignore the message and the course should play fine. As for the ini error, select Yes to have CLSetup correct the problem. |

Did what you suggested and I still get a black screen when I play the course. I can see the cursor change as it goes around the screen, but there is no other picture. It happens on Augusta from both designers. Hasn't happened on any other course as of yet.
Any idea why this would be happening? |

It doesn't sound like a library issue. If there was a problem with a library, like a library missing, the course would crash completely back to the desktop. Is this the first custom course you have tried? If so, what kind of a graphics card does your PC have? Custom courses require more from your system than the courses that come with the game. If you have a graphics card that is built into the motherboard, like an Intel graphics card, chances are you will not be able to play custom courses. An NVIDIA or ATI card is needed to play customs. |

Acer laptop with an Intel integrated chipset. Terrible I know. Didn't realize that when I bought it. Same laptop that I can't get TW08 to run on. Will this happen even though all the other courses, by that I mean custom courses, do work? Strange that all the other, non-stock courses, work! |

With that video chipset I am surprised you can get any custom courses to work at all. How many other custom courses have you gotten to work? Hyno courses will likely not work with your setup. They have problems running on some high end systems. The McHale version of Augusta was pretty detailed as well. Just based off of the information you have provided, I would say you are out of luck on that laptop due to the graphics capabilities. |

That doesn't sound very good. Everything works but both Augusta designers. Other Hyno designs work (Bayhill, Carnoustie, Oakmont, etc.). I don't like it, but I have to live with this laptop for a while yet. All I can do is use the ones that will work!
Thanks for your help! |
