Of the community links that offer launchers to play Tiger Woods PC PGA 2008, which do you as members feel is the most popular one? I enjoy novice setting and casual golf.

Yes, those are two nice TW08 sites. I mostly play offline or through IP with a couple family members. We use Skype when we play. If there were a launch site created like we all got weened on i.e. Zone, EA Server etc. that would be very cool.

I play the Golf-4Fun Tourneys weekly, intermediate. Been playing online golf since Links LS2000 with a group of friends that still play together on GameRanger. It would be nice if we could play tourneys at Golf-4Fun together.

I tried that launcher and it works great, thanks for the reminder. I uninstalled it though after I tried it. I like IP connections and using Skype with family and RL friends. Skype is my favorite method of communicating with people I have to come know over the years.

Also, IP connection means no added software like Hamachi etc.

Hi again I`am a bit surprised by your response about Game Ranger ! the TW 2008 community there does use Skype and for paid members, theres a voip buit in.
I dont think the software is intrusive in any way.
You can host your game locked via a password.
Easy to use GUI interface, the guy has done a very good job for the TW 2008 game/ Community.

I liked GameRanger but I would also have to install it on several other computers for family members to use. They all rely on me to do things like that. Now that they all understand the IP connection process, I just host the game, tell everyone on Skype the IP (if it's changed) then wait for each person to join the IP game.

No negatives for GameRanger, it's certainly very popular and easy to use for experience PC users.

Best- Lee

Leeraypc, have you tried using Tunngle, or even Hamachi. Tunngle is very easy to use and also supports TW08 gameong and other games as well
