Hi Peter,
I am using Win7 home version aswell on my pc and only installed TW08 so far. I am planned to install TW07 and TW06 on my PC next Saturday. I also will try to install some courses with CLsetup06 and CLsetup07. Will keep you informed when everything is installed, and will reply to this post next Saturday. |

I have 06, 07 and 08 installed and working fine on my year old laptop running Windows 7. Also have all the custom career utilities and course installers for all 3 running perfectly as well. I've installed probably 100 07 & 08 courses in 06 and 07 that I have tested and all work fine in custom career mode which I play on 07. You should not have any issues, Peter. |

As for your concern about losing files: all three games install in their own separate folder/location. As well, any courses/libraries you install are all installed in those individual locations, and the various installers correctly default to the appropriate game folder. Absolutely no chance of over-writing the files from one game when you install the files from another game, if that's what you are worried about. |

As bangus said in previous post, no problems with TW07 and TW06 on Win7.
Installed TW07 and TW06 on Win7 home 64bit. First i installed TW07 and after that i installed TW06. Also installed CLsetup07 and CLsetup06. I had to run CLsetup07 and CLsetup06 as administrator.
When you installed CLsetup07: On desktop go to: CLsetup07.exe ( application ) Right click CLsetup07.exe .....choose properties.....on top click: Compatibility....and on bottom check box: Run as administrator...and hit: Apply
When you installed CLsetup06: On desktop go to: CLsetup06.exe ( application ) Right click CLsetup06.exe .....choose properties.....on top click: Compatibility....and on bottom check box: Run as administrator...and hit: Apply |

I have installed 06 and 07 without any problems but not the CLS element as I am not interested in Course Designing.
Its funny how hard it is to get back into playing them it is after playing 08 and TWOnline. - at least I think so. |

Peter, when Gunpower mentioned CLS, I believe he was referring to the course and library installers for 06 and 07, not the course design tool. Those are required if you want to create and play a custom career in either 07 or 08.
I play 07 almost exclusively. Its much better graphically than 06, plus it runs in wide screen mode whereas 06 doesnt. I only have 06 installed because its required in order to create custom career templates for 07 and 08 as I said. |
