is there anyone who can design a slider bar for courses on Tiger Woods 08? I am handicapped and have a hard time to click down through the courses, one at a time, to bring up course to be played. |

Hiya Verne....
I created something in combination with CLTool08 (; cloaking tool 08). I edited the registry entry for CLTool08, this way in CLTool08 you can select the courses you want to see visible in TW08. It only takes 15 seconds to select the courses you want in CLTool08. After that you can start TW08, and in TW08 you will only see the courses you selected in CLTool08. The other courses will be invisible in TW08. No need to do a lot of clicking.
When you are interested, reply to this post or send me personal message and i will send you some help how to do it. Also add what operating system you are using: XP...Win7 or Vista |

I just wanted to thank Gunpower for making this available. I've been using it a while now and its so nice not having to click through 300 some odd courses when I play Wykagyl Country Club. I know people that have 4 times that many courses and shouldn't hesitate to install it. Thanks again. |

So I decided to try the cloaking method. I use winxp 32. When I dbl clk the 32.reg file an error message opens and says..."This file has no association ...please go to folder options and create one. OK...so I'm not new to this, but I have no idea what to do to make this work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

Hiya...
Did you extract or unzipped the downloaded zipfile first ? When you did that, go in the folder CLTool08....and inside dubble click: CLTool.exe (; application ). After that close the cloaking tool.......and try to dubble click: CLTool08_32.reg Note: There is readme file inside the zipfile with instructions
The reg file should open with: regedit.exe Try this:
Right click on the CLTool08_32.reg file. Click on Open With...
Click on Registry Editor, if its in the list, or use the Browse button to locate regedit.exe (;typically in C:\Windows)
Make sure that Always use the selected program to open this kind of file is checked
Click OK |

I am interested to know if Verne tried the utility and if it solved his problem.. I found out about the utility through friends and I downloaded it and installed it and it is terrific.. no more clicking down through 300 courses. Thanks for creating this very useful program.. I would also suggest that others who ask a question, and receive an answer to solve their problems, post their success or lack of it here. Hop352 |

What I have done is to move all Courses, NOT libraries, to a thumb drive. Open TW Caddie 08, press Ctrl O, not zero, select thumb drive, select & open desired course or courses. Your TW version must be closed at this point. When you open your TW version, courses will be displayed. |
