Does anyone know of a way to create a way to click through the course without having to click, click, click, every course. It gets to be a real pain when you have 1,000 plus courses and you want to play Zambesy..lol |

I second or third this. If any programmer ever works on this, two ideas for a selector.
1. something like what you see on the web when you have to pop a box-list to select your State or Country, names only
2. a scrollable 2-or-3 column list of "radio" buttons (select one dot) with only course names, no logos |

I am working on something to solve the problem. Did some testing.....in combination with CLTool08 for 32bit and 64bit system. With the current uploaded CLtool08 you can only cloak ( disable) the libraries. I will upload 2 registry files ( 32bit and 64 bit systems )after you download and dubble click the file, it will be possible to cloak ( disable ) all courses you don t need in TW08. So when you open TW08 you will only see the uncloaked ( enabled ) courses, and you will not see the cloaked courses. You also will only see the uncloaked courses in TWCaddie08, the cloaked courses will be unvisible in TWCaddie08.
This is what i do:
I open CLTool08......i select and cloak all my courses.....and after that i uncloak only the courses i am interested in. It only takes 10 seconds to do that, after that you can start TW08. This way you will only see the uncloacked courses in TW08 and TWCaddie, and no need to scroll in TW08 to find the course you want.
Reply to this message when you are interested, and i will upload both registry files ( 32bit and 64 bit systems ), to make it possible to cloak ( disable ) courses in CLTool08

Maybe Guitarman with 1000 courses would be happy with cloaking, especially if cloaking AND uncloaking was simple. Myself, I'd prefer one of the selector methods I suggested. |

IMHO... be sure that before you start.... you have backed up all your courses and library files.. and also your Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08 file in the documents folder. |

what's so difficult about leaving the required libraries installed - those have NEVER caused any game issues
and then just quickly load whatever course you want to play, whether solo or playing paired
takes less than 2 minutes to open your installed and click on the course you want |

I would love to see this fixed in the 08 program code....but, I'm not sure how long we would have to wait for the code to go "public domain". I just remember being able to scroll through my 1300+courses and pick one. I'm certainly not in favor of cloaking the courses. I really hope someone can come up with a logical fix for this.....it's wearing out my mouse button quickly...lol |

The code for this game will never go to the public domain. I have not ever seen any commercial software go into the public domain |
