Hello everyone. I just got a new Alienware M11x netbook with a Nvidia 335m graphics card in it. I'm running Tiger 08 and have played around with all the settings in the video part of the game and put most on high. When I play the game I'm noticing a little bit of flickering in the trees (when on the tee and the game isn't following the ball)I have ball view when I play the game, I see alot of flickering when the game follows the ball thru the air on the buildings in the background. My ? is, is there 1 setting that I can change to stop this from happening? or do I have to lower more than 1 of the setting? I would like a fast fix if there is one. T.I.A. Brad.

buildings, structures etc - try lowering shader level

tree settings (all three of them)- can test those also

you can use the slider bar - best performance vs best graphics - it will change different settings for you

- this is a result of the change in the game engine and the libraries used - some display better on low setting, others better on medium

you can monitor the smoothness/framerates by adding the following to the .ini file found here:
C:\Program Files (;x86)\EA Sports\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\bin

[TW]
Beta2.1 - 07.20.2007
framerate=1

the use the R key to start/stop the framerate display in game (;press R several times to end, it has several types of display info)
